Porcelain Ball-Jointed Dolls

These porcelain dolls are made from scratch by me. I sculpt them in clay, mold, cast in porcelain, fire, paint in layered stages with China paints, assemble them, then make heir wigs and clothes. They are strung with steel springs and leather-lined joints for holding poses. These are heirloom quality art dolls, and the porcelain and paint will never yellow or fade. Morgan

Morgan is as fearless as a warrior. She is passionate, protective, and brave.

Eetha

Though quiet and seemingly solemn, Eetha is always in thought. She is mindful of all that is around her. Her compassion for all that lives is both a strength and a burden.

Hyacinth

Hyacinth is sweet, lively, and giving. She puts a creative touch of whimsy in everything she does.

Anemone

Anemone is an exuberant soul, full of youthful enthusiasm and adventure. She is as kind as any friend can be.

Terra

Terra is a nurturer, a stable presence, and a comfort to her friends.

Plan are in the works for a project using these dolls as a cast of characters, pairing them with unicorn companions from my paintings.

It may be a written story or a narrative in pictures, a combination of paintings and photography including unicorn sculptures and three-dimensional sets. Please watch for exciting things coming soon!
