Kelly Sparks

Kelly Sparks (Salchli) is a 2000 graduate of the Columbus College of Art and Design with a major in illustration. Since, she has painted theater sets for the local community theater and created her own ball-jointed dolls. In the last few years Kelly has returned to illustration and fine arts with a focus on acrylic as a medium.

She lives in Kentucky, USA, in a stone cottage with three children and a herd of critters: chickens, goldfish, a dog, and a good number of cats.

She was raised on horse picture books, a good deal of children’s classic literature, and a smattering of her brother’s comics. There will always be horses and cats running through her imagination.
