Muse came from a shelter. He was maybe six weeks old when I adopted him, sight unseen, from a photo online. When he was delivered and placed in my hands, I realized he was underweight and much younger than I had guessed. I took him to the vet, fed him, and gave him plenty of love. He grew up in my lap, at a time when i was just restarting my art career, thus the name “Muse.” Any time I sit down to paint, Muse finds me.
